Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Salvation is a gift that cannot be earnt but is given by Grace. Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross, the debt was paid, and we are made right (Christ’s righteousness) with God through the Faith in Christ Jesus. Our own righteousness is as filthy rags before God, and it is through Christ’s righteousness that we are justified. We are all sinners, but through repentance of our sin (confessing our sins before God and turning our back to sin) and cleansing of our iniquity (sins that are inherited through generations and need to be purged, also what tendencies and what leads to sin), the Faith in Jesus Christ and baptism we are saved.
