God’s Love

Dear brethren and sisters, know that God loves you very much. It is written in the Bible that perfect love casts out fear. It also states that we should fear God. Except the fear the Bible is talking about when we should fear God is reverential fear, whereas the fear mentioned as being cast out is terror, due to the fact the Hebrew to English translation loses some meaning for certain words. Reverential fear is a Holy fear, a fear that comes with respect for God and His power. God is omnipresent, satan is not omnipresent. Satan needs his fallen angels and demons to report back to Him, God knows all things and all hearts. As it is written in the Psalms, God searches the hearts, seeing what he may find. The ultimate goal is to have a healthy heart relationship with God.

When we experience God’s love for us, and understand that Jesus died for us, we begin our Faith journey. Once we receive the Holy Spirit, we begin to show Fruits of the Spirit, and love of other people and all creation. Jesus mentions in the New Testament, when asked what is the greatest commandment, he replies, it is to love God with all your strength and mind. So God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that any who believe in Him will have eternal life.

The highest form of love is Agape Love, a charitable love that comes from God that we don’t deserve but comes from His Grace and is a gift. There have been instances where famous Christians have been filled with a warm love during the night that totally changed their relationship with God.
