The Bible makes it clear that our own righteousness is as filthy rags before God. So we can’t boast about how righteous we are through our own means. It is Christ’s righteousness in us that makes us right through God’s eyes. So seek to have a renewing of your mind, and have the Mind of Christ through Christ’s Spirit. We should walk and be in Jesus.
In the New Testament, Jesus states that before you make offerings to the Lord and if we have a grievance with another, we should make it a priority to make up with the other. Jesus also states in the New Testament that we should pay attention and fix our own faults before accusing and giving advice to others on their faults.
Jesus also mentions in the New Testament that, as Christians, we shouldn’t take each other to court. If somebody sues you, you should go to some length to not take it as a grievance against you and them, but be kind about it and try to come to some amicable solution. Also as Christians, we believe in the universal sovereignty of God, and we should have Faith in justice through God’s hands. God will repay our enemies. We are actually encouraged to bless them that curse us, and to pray for the salvation of our enemies.
