Peace is a central topic in the Bible and in Christianity. God is a God of peace. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God, as Jesus mentioned in Gospel of Matthew. He who lives by the sword will die by the sword, also mentioned by Jesus. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind. One of the nine Fruits of the Spirit is Peace, which are fruit of people filled with the Holy Ghost. God is not the author of confusion but of peace. Knowing God is on your side gives you peace beyond worldly understanding. God’s love is unconditional and not fulfilled by works but by Grace to those that believe and have Faith. Seek peace and pursue it, as written by Peter. As you can see, peace is a central aspect of Christianity. Paul, in Thessalonians, calls the Lord, the Lord of peace. We are all called to live in peace. There shall be great quiet and peace in Christ’s Kingdom and government (Book of Isaiah chapter Eleven).
