There Is No Condemnation In Christ Jesus

When we first came to Christ, we have all sinned, and we may feel the weight of the sin on our shoulders and feel that we are not worthy or deserving of the mercy of God and his blessings. It is important to understand some basic principles of scripture as presented in the Bible. Firstly, the Bible states that only one man has not sinned, and that is Jesus, who was both the Son of Man and God. Even if we don’t have knowledge that we sinned, one idle word, one idol, one lie, one haughty look, one mouthful too much, one slothful moment, one slip of the tongue we have sinned. That is why we have Holy Communion to cleanse of the sins and secret faults. It is impossible in our own strength to be self made in God’s eyes and be self-righteous, we need the blood of Jesus to wash away our sins and need Christ’s righteousness in us to justify us.

Every time we approach the Throne of Grace (for it is by Grace we are able to receive the blessings and promises of God not by our own works and doings) and repent of our sin (that is confess our sin and turn our back to it), in the Psalms it is states that our sins are forgiven, but also God forgets our sin, like we have not sinned in the first place. Paul in the Epistles (Letters to the saints and Churches in the New Testament), states that if we feel condemned, we are not in Christ Jesus, for Paul the Apostle states that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, so don’t feel condemned dear brothers and sisters in Christ, but aim to become in Christ Jesus.
